“In Bed With” would be the curves of desire imprisoned somewhere in a space of irreducibly rectilinear geometry. It’s epileptic, it’s fleeting, it’s jerky, it’s brutal. But it can just as easily be amorphous and immo-bile. It’s the violence of the straight line. Sylvain Darrifourcq, Julien Desprez and Kit Downes question the relationship between geometry and desire, which feeds the music of this experimental rock trio, for a kind of philosophy in the electric boudoir.
