Ginger Trio

Ginger offers a delicately spicy blend of jazz and pop music. Long-time collaborators, jazz musicians Romain Baret, Gregory Sallet and Michel Molines have enriched their band’s repertoire over the course of their concerts, adapting to the requests they received. They first rearranged numerous French songs from the 1950s to the 1980s, highlighting artists such as Brassens, Gainsbourg and Édith Piaf. They then ventured into Anglo-American pop, revisiting iconic songs by bands such as The Police, Nirvana and David Bowie. This diversity allowed them to craft a unique sound, which resulted in a repertoire of compositions for Jazz à Vienne in 2017 and an album released in 2020, ‘Sélection d’épices’.
