Vincent Courtois, Robin Fincker et Daniel Erdmann

Cellist Vincent Courtois brings together two tenor saxophonists, the warmth of Berlin-born Daniel Erdmann and the brilliance of Robin Fincker, to form a trio of a kind never seen before in the history of jazz. After immersing himself in film music with the ‘Original Soundtracks’ repertoire, he wanted to draw inspiration for this new project from the works of Jack London, the great American writer of the early 20th century. The compositions (mainly by the cellist, but also in part by his partners) are based on impressions of reading a novel, a collection or even a short story by this writer, a champion of adventure as much as of nature.
