WATCHDOG celebrates its 10th anniversary. Still produced by the Pince-Oreilles label, their 4th album “Fables” tells the tale of music from an imaginary elsewhere, composed with an element of improvisation, great attention to detail in texture and sound ambience, and a wide range of references.

Anne Quillier’s all-purpose keyboards and Pierre Horckmans’ clarinets give the duo a keen interest in the music that inspires them, but without any preoccupation with fitting into an identifiable style. Their approach is that of musical omnivores who have been able to recreate their own universe, built as a refuge, an escape from reality.
