No Tongues

This night is part of the TRACES Biennial from October 15 to December 10, 2022, supported by a wide variety of actors, all of whom have in common to work on issues surrounding past and present migrations in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The ensemble No Tongues explores the vocal traditions of the planet in order to elaborate a particularly contemporary sound universe. Four musicians from Nantes go into exile in an ancestral vocal repertoire taken from the magnificent album Les Voix du Monde.

With Ronan Courty (double bass, keyboards), Matthieu Prual (alto and soprano saxophone, bass clarinet, electroacoustic device, resonators), Ronan Prual (double bass, percussions) and Alan Regardin (trumpet, electronics).
