We Are The New Generation + Saroyé

Les Utopiales, Lyon’s festival of medico-social work, is an opportunity to show that the fight against exclusion is not just a gloomy battle, and that it must be able to take on the color of festivity. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the ties that bind us together – people receiving support and professionals in the social and medico-social sector – and to offer each other a shared, joyous and exhilarating gift.
It’s a festival of encounters, discoveries, celebrations and festivities. So let us take you on a journey of discovery through our daily bonds, filled with victories and surprises.
On the program: concerts, glitter, hot dogs and an open stage.

• We Are The New Generation (Rap / Afro pop), a variable-geometry musical collective formed around young, precarious exiles from the Lyon area.
• Saroyé (Rumba / Maloya), an enchanting group mixing maloya and the frenzied rhythms of Cuban rumba.

The Utopiales festival is promoted by the 6 members of the Groupement de coopération sociale et médico-sociale du Chez Soi d’Abord (Le Mas, Oppelia Aria, Lahso, la Fondation ARHM, Alynéa and Acoléa). It is organized by the people concerned and the professionals of the innovative schemes that emanate from it, namely: La Maraude Jeune, Plan A et Zone Libre, Les JobCoach, Pause Diabolo, Logis Jeunes and Un Chez Soi d’Abord.
