Léo Dumont : With many experiences in jazz, rock, free rock, music for theater and dance… he considers above all the musical practice as an act of listening.
His acquaintance for the music of traverses makes him adopt a game full of contrasts and “pas de côtés”, while taking care of the precision of the musical intention and the sound rendering. Also, a particular interest in non-idiomatic improvisation for the past fifteen years has led him to develop extensive drumming techniques. He plays on “classical” percussion elements to which are added more incongruous objects. The drum or the cymbal then only become the amplification mode for the handling of all these objects.
