La Litanie des Cimes

Created in 2019 by violinist Clément Janinet with Elodie Pasquier on clarinets and Bruno Ducret on cello, La Litanie des Cimes plays with large movements, seemingly slow tempos and harmonic contemplations. Improvisation is free and introspective without being reclusive. The harmonies exchanged are constantly reworked by the repetition of motifs. One could almost hear agitated dialogues. The energy is fiery. Intimate jumble versus shared clarity, liveliness of line versus melodic delicacy.
