Blue Yonder

Blue Yonder plays the card of a jazz with a muffled atmosphere, tinged with improvisations that skillfully open the way to a music made of upheavals and sound instrospections. This trio – which could be defined with the label “jazz” if one were needed – comes straight from the universe of Emmanuel Scarpa (Hammer Matraque, Magic Malik, Radiation 10). With its share of onirism and introspection, this music – which plays with canons, mirrors, stretching or tightening of time – is brought to light by the fabulous musicians Bruno Ruder (Jeanne Added, Billy Hart, Magma), and Guillaume Orti (Kartet, Andy Emler Megaoctet, Octurn), who lend themselves magnificently to the play of this musical labyrinth, made of written and improvised intermingling.
