RuinsZu + Xerta

Ruins (Tokyo) and Zu (Rome) have been touring together since the late 90s. Both bands are dedicated to creating innate forms that push music to its limits and break down all boundaries of genre and style (we’d be tempted to call it prog-metal, but that would only scratch the surface).
Yoshida Tatsuya (on drums from Ruins) and Luca T Mai and Massimo Pupillo (saxophone and bass from Zu) have formed a new chimerical creature, RuinsZu, to push exploration even further.

Opening the evening, Sylvain Lorens will be exploring with Xerta, his prepared guitar solo, an etheric, abrasive and uncompromising sound sculpture.
