Mélissa Acchiardi is a musician and composer. She plays vibraphone and drums, which she sometimes prepares with synthesizer, banjo or sound objects of various kinds. She likes to make music that can be listened to, danced to, or that supports words or stories. She likes to play with lots of people or just a few, to compose and improvise, to tinker and practice, to break things down and apply herself. She likes to play in big places or small, outside or inside, sitting or standing.
