Nubiyan Twist is undoubtedly one of the most interesting on-stage collectives of this young generation of English musicians who are unashamedly shaking up the codes of contemporary jazz (Kokoroko, Nubya Garcia, Ezra Collective…). Hailing from Leeds, it was in the clubs of London that these wildly talented performers concocted their exhilarating aggregate of neo-soul, jazz-funk, afro-groove and broken beat.
