Sauges

Sauges explores a dialogue between tradition and modernity, harmony and chaos. Cymbalum and Persephone—two instruments that seem, at first glance, far apart—meet and mirror each other in an ever-expanding dance. Resonance and roughness, noise and harmony, phase shifts and accumulation: these tensions shape their sonic language, made of shimmer and rupture.

The cymbalum brings a granular physicality—precise strikes and stretching halos—while the Persephone, a ribbon-based analog synthesizer, injects shifting layers, subtle pulsations, and micro-variations in timbre. Nothing is fixed: motifs emerge, fracture, and are exchanged. The result oscillates between texture and pulse, noise and clarity.

On stage, this interaction becomes a dense field of listening, where the music is created in real time before the audience’s ears. Sauges thus crafts porous spaces, where listening becomes active, almost tactile—a taut, precise vibrational transmission.

Their second album Pizza Soleil will be released on Wabi Sabi Records in 2026.

Soleil Rouge

Formed in 2022 as a minimalist duo of synthesizer and bass, Soleil Rouge recently evolved into a trio with the addition of a double bass in 2025, along with percussion. Today, Soleil Rouge offers a form of repetitive, improvised music—an immersive journey into futuristic worlds—blending simple melodies with noise-based atmospheres that evoke landscapes inhabited by fantastical creatures.
