Orfeu + Diámelo Encòr + Proto-Monde DJ set

In partnership with Panotii Cantii, this evening is an opportunity to celebrate the release of Orfeu’s album FÉLIX CULPA and the generous journey offered by its six demanding tracks! A duo concocted by two well-known local birds, Orfeu takes his delicate twisted guitar and accompanies us on the thorny path.

Orfeu

Originally conceived as Alexandre Casato’s (Tombouctou, Schleu, Saddam Webcam, etc.) solo and very personal project on classical guitar, Orfeu returned from the underworld as a duo, with Clément Curadeau on drums (Sulphat’Ketamine, Süryabonali, etc.). This duo gave rise to the album Felix Culpa, la faute heureuse (Felix Culpa, the happy fault), released recently on the STNT label.

Diámelo Encòr 

Diámelo Encòr is a choir singing popular songs in Occitan that rehearses at the Atelier des Canulars in Lyon. Under the joint direction of the group Diámelo, the choir explores traditional and contemporary repertoires (compositions by Diámelo, Barrut, La Mal Coiffée, etc.) in the different dialects of cultural Occitania.

The Occitan language is currently enjoying a revival in creative music. It is expressed above all as a Mediterranean cross-cultural phenomenon, bringing together influences from the Pyrenees, Italy, Catalonia, Greece, North Africa, and Turkey.

Proto-Monde DJ set 

Friends and collaborators within the Panotii Cantii concert organization collective, Manon and Slow play music together under the name Proto-Monde. In the form of a DJ set, the two Panotéens have put together a selection for the occasion that will get you dancing with your inner chill, in colors that reflect their style: neo-trad, dub, experimental and forest music.
