Zozio + Radio Anthropocène LIVE « Écoute active »

Zozio
Tossed between different musical worlds, at the crossroads of its multiple influences, Zozio seeks to blend the music of Réunion with rock and experimental music, all in a grand, airy and wild swing.
Brought together by a shared desire to work on covers of traditional sega and maloya songs, the group Zozio blossomed when the need arose to create an original repertoire imbued with its own unique universe. Zozio embraces the intense, twilight vibe of sega, awakening a trance-like state and a spark that immediately warms the heart.
Radio Anthropocène LIVE ‘Active Listening’
We welcome Radio Anthropocène at 6pm: a special live broadcast from the Périscope studio in front of an audience! For the last episode of the season, the fifth, of Camille Viguié’s programme, Active Listening: Feminism and the music industry: sisterhood and brotherhood to counter the imposter syndrome?
It’s a little inner voice that whispers too loudly: “You’re not legitimate enough. You don’t have the codes. You’re pretending.”
In the music industry, imposter syndrome is a persistent reality for a large proportion of artists, musicians and professionals. And even more so for those who suffer from gendered injunctions, systemic discrimination, or who do not fit into the boxes of an environment still largely dominated by masculine and heteronormative standards.
Behind the scenes, the turntables, and the production offices, doubts accumulate, often in silence.
We invite a multitude of voices: all those affected by this feeling of being ‘too much’ or ‘not enough’ — and who have chosen to talk about it, together. Above all, we will explore the tools of collective resistance in the face of these intimate doubts: sisterhood, brotherhood, support, mutual aid, and a safe space for discussion. We will talk about what it feels like to feel illegitimate in a world that renders certain trajectories invisible. But also about what changes when we are surrounded, supported, and recognised.
On the agenda: free discussions, candid sharing of experiences and the grand return of ‘Planet Zouz’ musical interludes.
An episode to remind ourselves that we are not alone in our doubts, and that together, we can transform
these flaws into strengths. A cathartic, collective, musical and political programme: because speaking out
liberates, and listening can become a weapon.
