Ti’kaniki Kabar Maloya + Marmay La Kour

For over 10 years now, Ti’kaniki has been organising Réunion maloya kabars in Lyon. It is a particular joy to welcome the band Marmay La Kour for this next edition, as part of their first tour in mainland France! A true phenomenon on Réunion Island, and with one of the best maloya albums of the year, Nout Lang Kozé, they deliver a powerful and generous take on maloya, driven by beautiful compositions.

For this special event, Ti’kaniki is preparing a unique set bringing the two groups together, before opening up the kabar to everyone.

As part of the preparations for this concert, a maloya workshop will be held with the Marmay La Kour team in Lyon throughout the day on Wednesday 11 November (a public holiday), at UAICL (Lyon 4). More information.
