Sioule + Cam&Léon

Release Party

Sioule celebrates the release of its first album, Migransà, at Le Périscope!

Sioule

Sioule, born at the confluence of traditional Auvergne music and psychedelic funk from the 70s, is the result of an encounter between musicians from these seemingly distant worlds. Cultivators of experimentation based on local traditions, sons of farmers uprooted from their land for electrified cities, they work to invent a common and original culture in which their history and their relationship to dance remain central.

Cam&Léon

Camille and Léon began sharing and playing together as soon as they met in 2011, in jam sessions that lasted until dawn. Their music has grown with them over the years. Also musicians in the group Bargainatt, what they love to share as a duo is a bridge that connects contemporary compositions of various inspirations to a passion for traditional folk music from the Massif Central. With great freshness, they move from a beautiful neo-folk mazurka to a typical Auvergne bourrée, from an energetic Circassian circle dance to a rhythmic Scottish dance. Harmony and cadence, all in a dynamic that makes both ears and feet dance.
