Oscar Jerome is a young prodigy of the London scene who is also known as the guitarist in the band Kokoroko. In his solo project, Oscar Jerome mixes all his influences: artists like Gil Scott-Heron, George Benson, John Martyn, The Clash, Ali Farka Toure and Jay Dilla. He draws his inspiration from politics, musical spirituality and his own experiences for his lyrics. His recent compositions see him open up and explore new sides of himself.
