Kyara Sonor

Kyara Sonor is an immersive, electroacoustic musical and sound project. Equipped with a drum set, percussion, a bow, microphones, and effects modules, Matheo Ciesla transports us into a suspended, dreamlike, cinematic space-time, where the drums lead us to places where they are not usually expected, through a 360° immersive spatial setup.
The core of the concept lies in the use of the so-called “microscope” technique, which consists of placing the microphone extremely close to the sound source (almost touching it) in order to reveal what is normally imperceptible to the ear.
