DJ Startup
Simon Lahure, aka DJ Startup, creates dance music that is joyful, captivating, and hybrid, blending broken rhythms with big beat, IDM, and UK garage accents, with influences from folk music and video game soundtracks. Inspired by the contemporary traditional scene as much as by the codes of film music, DJ Startup composes sets where the energy of rave is adorned with the imagination of fairy tales.
Since 2022, Simon has been developing an immersive quadraphonic live show, designed to be as close as possible to the audience. Thanks to MIDI racks he has built himself, each performance becomes a sensory and festive experience, where the sound narrative is experienced collectively.
