Chromb!

Last concert

If there’s one band that has rocked the stage at Le Périscope, it’s Chromb! For their final concert, expect a memorable racket. As they say themselves:

Hi there, we are the band CHROMB!
After a little more than fifteen years of making music together, we’ve decided to call it quits — right here at the Périscope, and now on November 14, 2025.

For the occasion, we’ll play a regular concert: there won’t be any prestigious guests (like the band Pow Wow suddenly showing up to belt out a blues) or any wild surprises (no horses crossing the stage, no deputy-mayors storming in wearing only underwear), no cold buffet either. Yes, it sounds disappointing at first glance, but look again:

  • we’ll be together at the Périscope,
  • you’ll move your own respective bodies to our own respective music,
  • we won’t have prepared this final show with a certified stage coach, so our between-songs banter will run a bit too long and feature semi-pro jokes, as usual,
  • so, are you in or what?

There won’t be an opening act, and the after show will just be people gathered in the same place, with time to ask each other things like “how are you doing?” or “in your opinion, which instrument is the true king of jazz: piano or trumpet?” That said, beware — the real reason we’re ending the band is because we fell out over this debate: one of us swears it’s jazz piano, another insists it’s jazz electric bass, another is all about jazz drums, and the last one is convinced it’s jazz trumpet (he stubbornly maintains that saxojazz never even existed).

Now, you can book your ticket through the magical powers of your purchasing power.

Batteries not included.

Alright then, goodbye for now!”

Chromb !

CHROMB! has been making CHROMB! for fifteen years, five albums and many concerts. And CHROMB! is music. The band is driven by four heads, propelled by an overflowing imagination, electrically powered and impervious to classification. Sometimes its mother is jazz, since CHROMB! looks like her in photos, sometimes it’s rock, since it’s true that it’s […]
