Black Zone Myth Chant

Black Zone Myth Chant (also known as BZMC) is the live project of French musician Maxime Primault (also known for his Deep Triskell project), blending influences from psych-drone, Afro-futurism, stellar hip-hop and experimental electronic music. He is often described as ‘Sun Ra reimagined by DJ Screw’ and performs in avant-garde clubs as well as at international festivals. He has notably played at venues and events such as Unsound, CTM, Villette Sonique, SXSW and Fusion Festival, embodying a live performance style that is at once hypnotic, cosmic and radical.

Throughout his career, Maxime Primault has released his music on major independent labels such as Not Not Fun Records, Leaving Records, Éditions Gravats, Shelter Press, Winged Sun, Scorpion Metal and Dawn Records, demonstrating his deep roots in today’s experimental scenes.

Aracoeli

Aracoeli delivers immersive live performances. On her debut album Zagareddre, released on Dawn Records, Lyon-based artist Aracoeli weaves a tapestry between her dreams and the imagery of tarantismo – a cathartic ritual from Italian folklore designed to expel both psychological torment and the venom from spider bites.

Influenced by classical and Hindustani music, the singer, violinist and producer moves fluidly between folk, trip hop, pop and electronica. String instruments, layered vocals, synthesisers and electronic experimentation intertwine… Like a multitude of colourful silk ribbons – the zagareddre – evoking the colours of the tarantulas that have bitten you.

Hajj

Florent Hadjinazarian, alias HAJJ is an artist, composer, and video director. He is also the founder of Dawn, a label created in 2009. He explores and develops an art and music borrowed from Gothic fatalism and sarcastic romanticism. HAJJ promotes self-reflection, transgression through free and eclectic artistic expression, in which film and musical production merge, flickering as much towards light as in darkness, his music is a mixture of a palette of varied influences, through rap, ambient, pop, folk music, grime, doom metal, and sound design. His creation goes against conventions, fights against tradition and, calls for the abandonment of habit, for the exploration of provocation.
