After a handful of singles and EPs and a series of concerts that only served to increase the band’s intensity and affirm its sound, Bada-Bada – the trio formed by Lilian Mille, Tiss Rodriguez and Leo Fumagalli – finally unveiled Portraits, its debut album, last January – ‘an incendiary testimony to its inventiveness’, according to the French newspaper Libération.
One of the jewels in the crown of the new jazz scene, with its innovative instrumental music based on trance, beats, textures and melody, Bada-Bada stands out for its rare ability to transcend genres and use the studio as an instrument in its own right.

Tiss Rodriguez (drums), Lilian Mille (trumpet, keyboard) and Leo Fumagalli (sax, guitar, keyboard) met while studying jazz at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood (CMDL) in Paris.
