Kyara Sonor

Lyon, France

Matheo Ciesla, jazz and improvised music drummer, is passionate about sound texture. A sideman on many projects from the Lyon scene such as: Amin Al Aiedy Quartet (Oriental jazz), Victoria Alexanyan Quintet (Armenian jazz), Dragon Flowers (folk dance and Chinese violin), or Felsemeer (poetic turbojazz), among others. Also a composer, he was quickly drawn to the noise-oriented universe of his instrument and added an electroacoustic dimension, which he developed through his experience with Moisture III alongside Loic Del Monte and Paolo Rezze. He continues this research with Paolo Rezzé through object repurposing as well as with Rose Dehors on the experimental/free jazz/noise side. His taste for exploration is leading him to pursue his experiments as a solo artist.

Initially a musician (Kalasaa with Louisa Filliot), Anthony Dupuy quickly moved toward sound professions, studying at Grim Edif, then joining Le Périscope (Lyon) as general stage manager for three years. Building on this experience, he works as an artistic producer and sound engineer for other artists (Yann Ponthus, Clane, Jet Whistle, Anima, Freddyrocket…). In parallel, he developed an interest in music for visual media and notably composed the soundtrack for “Kruz”, a film by Loïc Zimmermann. Today, Anthony works with the publishing house A. Chave and is preparing his solo musical project (Vortex). In Haute-Marne, he founded a recording studio dedicated to creation, production, and artistic support, where the [Kyara Sonor] project will be in residence in April 2026.
