The Garenne duo offer a cheeky acoustic sound based on the folk fiddle repertoires of the Massif Central, with a few compositions thrown in for good measure. In a ball, they deploy an indomitable, irresistible energy based on rich timbres and a fierce cadence. In workshops, using the violin, cello or dance as a base, they work on immersion in traditional repertoires and practices as an open door to freedom and creation. In concert, the thickness of their sonorities is put to the service of a powerful and refined music.
