Bernardino Femminielli works in an amalgam of supports where music, performance, poetry and cinema are intermingled, anchored in a provocation at the same time hyper-sexualized and asexualized. A casual crooner in the heart of a dystopian disco. From brutal italo-disco to classical flights of fancy, from mutant industrial to armored cosmic drone, his sonic undertakings are the image of his multiple alter egos. His lyrics explore a fantasized illicit paradise, brimming with excess, drugs, bars, lust, darkness and camaraderie.
On stage we discover him vulnerable and arrogant, exploring with grace the dark energy of French or German cabarets, highlighting a form of “total” performance where poetry, music, cinema and dance come together.
