Orfeu + Diámelo Encòr + Proto-Monde DJ set

This evening is an opportunity to celebrate the release of Orfeu‘s album FÉLIX CULPA and the generous journey offered by its six demanding tracks! A duo concocted by two well-known local birds, Orfeu takes his twisted, delicate guitar and accompanies us on the thorny path.

Orfeu – sinuous ambient

Originally conceived as the very personal solo project of Alexandre Casato (Tombouctou, Schleu, Saddam Webcam, etc.) on classical guitar, Orfeu has returned from the underworld as a duo, with Clément Curadeau on drums (Sulphat’Ketamine, Süryabonali, etc.). From this two-person lineup was born the album Felix Culpa, “the fortunate fault,” recently released on the STNT label.

Diámelo Encòr – polyphonic singing in Occitan

Diámelo Encòr is a choir of popular songs in Occitan that rehearses at the Atelier des Canulars in Lyon. Under the shared direction of the group Diámelo, the choir explores traditional and contemporary repertoires (compositions by Diámelo, Barrut, La Mal Coiffée, etc.) from the various dialects of cultural Occitania.

The Occitan language is currently experiencing a revival in creative music. Above all, it expresses itself as a Mediterranean cross-current, allowing dialogue between inspirations from the Pyrenees, Italy, Catalonia, Greece, the Maghreb, or Turkey.

Proto-Monde DJ set – music for inner chill

Friends and fellow members of the concert-organizing collective Panotii Cantii, Manon and Slow make music together under the name Proto-Monde. In the form of a DJ set, the two Panotii members have prepared for the occasion a selection for dancing with your inner calm, in colors that resemble them: neo-trad, dub, experimental and woodland sounds.
