[Kyara Sonor] is an immersive, electroacoustic music and sound project. Equipped with drums, percussion instruments, a bow, microphones, and effects modules, Matheo Ciesla transports us to a suspended, dreamlike, cinematic space-time. The drums take us where we don’t usually expect them to go, through an immersive 360° soundscape created by Anthony Dupuy. At the heart of the concept lies the use of a technique known as “microscoping,” which involves placing the microphone as close as possible (or even gluing it) to the sound source in order to hear what is not usually perceptible to the ear.
