In the realm of rebel music, Sėlēnę reigns over multiple worlds, powerful and psychedelic, electric, dreamlike and surreal. Sėlēnę is a blend of character(s). Forged on Réunion Island. Cellist Mélanie Badal is the driving force behind this classical repertoire, which, from 2018, will be joyfully shaken up by electroacoustic music. Guitarist and alchemist Blaise Cadenet has slipped into the whirlwinds of the project. Mahesh Vingataredy, a drummer and percussionist with a wealth of experience, has also found the perfect terrain. With Sėlēnę, the reckless merges with the fragile, the frontal vigour of the effects with the nostalgia of the melodies, played or sung, where a few wounds pass discreetly by.
