Zeph

Lyon, France

Founded in 2018, ZEPH is a band from Lyon that draws inspiration from Afro, funk and jazz music. From the outset, the band has been sincerely committed to its musical project and has gradually made a name for itself on the local scene, playing in several venues in Lyon and then throughout the Rhône-Alpes region. Thanks to their collective energy and constant hard work, ZEPH gradually expanded their reach, performing at concerts and festivals throughout France. Among their highlights, the band performed in front of 2,000 people at FIMU, a powerful experience that reinforced their desire to continue bringing their music to life on stage. Alternating between concerts and residencies, the band took the time to develop their visual universe, notably during a residency at Jack Jack, which focused on stage design and lighting.

In 2021, ZEPH released their first EP, consisting of six original tracks, accompanied by a music video to support the release and assert their evolving artistic identity. Their music was broadcast on FIP and Nova radio stations. Three years later, the band decided to start writing their first album, which had matured over the course of concerts and encounters. To support this new project, ZEPH chose to surround themselves with local collaborators and artists, in a collective approach rooted in their territory. This work culminated in the release of their album Sirocco in October 2024, promoted in particular by a music video for the song ‘Tempête’. Today, ZEPH continues on its path with humility, maintaining its desire to share its music and explore new forms of creation.
