Gil.Barte is a sound artist rooted in the modular and experimental scene, founder of the KUMP and Meth.O.tapes labels, and host of the ‘Methodrone’ programme on LYL radio.

In his constant exploration of sound through hybrid forms, Gil.Barte delivers meditative and transcendental music with intriguing, fantastical and dreamlike imagery.

After releases on labels such as Big Science, Neubau and Homemade Sound System, Gil.Barte recently joined Teenage Ménopause with his new album ‘Claviceps Purpurea’.
