Doce de Coco

‘Only mountains never meet’… Yet the Croix Rousse hill and the hills of Rio de Janeiro did indeed meet to give birth to this trio, Doce de Coco. Keen on intimate atmospheres that allow everyone to discover or deepen their knowledge of choro, forró and samba, the trio invites you on a musical journey between Brazil and Europe. A dancing journey in the warmth of a generous and cheerful atmosphere carried by the virtuosity and complicity of these three musicians. They create a blend of styles ranging from classical to bossa nova, French chanson, choro, samba and many more.
They interpret the works of great Brazilian composers such as Pixinguinha and Luiz Gonzaga, as well as French artists such as Nougaro and Nino Ferrer, in order to better serve and enrich their Franco-Brazilian cultural mix. An inspiring encounter that will stay with you for some time to come!
