Les Volumineuses is a collective that organises events where celebration goes hand in hand with wellbeing, empowerment, inclusivity and kindness. Through a programme that exclusively showcases people of all genders, the collective highlights both emerging and established artists, whilst creating festive, accessible and socially conscious spaces.

Founded in Brussels, the collective has organised eleven events over three years at various cultural venues across the city. Since moving to Lyon, it has also organised two editions of its micro-festival, Les Volumes, as well as hybrid events such as Les Tattoomineuses, a fundraising event combining tattooing, music and a friendly atmosphere.

Throughout these events, Les Volumineuses have brought together a wide variety of artistic and participatory activities: concerts, DJ sets, exhibitions, screen printing, fanzine workshops, permanent tattoos, temporary tattoos and activities for children. Each event is designed as a space for discovery, connection and sharing, where different disciplines intersect and where everyone can find their place.

On Saturday 3 October, Les Volumineuses will be taking over Le Périscope for their third ‘Volume’, a micro-festival that will bring the venue to life from 3 pm until midnight.

On the programme: concerts, DJ sets, workshops, a children’s area, glitter and plenty of other surprises, all in a festive, inclusive and friendly atmosphere.
