Blême

Blême is bursts of rage in spoken word, set to 100% analog electronic music. Somewhere between poetic uppercuts and high-voltage electro, it examines our contemporary wounds to help us emerge from hibernation with clarity.
Blême formed in late 2024 at the foot of the Drôme mountains. It was the meeting of Adrien Cabessa, a slam poet who listened to Fauve and Dooz Kawa on repeat, and David Vaux (Eter Eter), a musician and composer working with analog synths, inspired by Massive Attack and Rebeka Warrior. Their creations straddle the boundaries of rap and spoken word, coldwave and trip-hop.
Naufrages, their debut studio album, was released on February 13, 2026. Driven by intimate and political poetry, it speaks of the end of the world and hope, of air bubbles against bulldozers, of glass ceilings to be shattered with shovels. This album invites us to navigate the absurdities of the contemporary world and, pale with rage, to fight with brilliance.
