SuperMegaSuperCool Révolution is the abolition of aesthetic boundaries, psychedelic jazz without barriers or labels, reminiscent of Stereolab, Mahavishny Orchestra, and Black Midi.

SMSCR was born out of a desire to create something that doesn’t yet exist and to paint new soundscapes. The group plays with boundaries, drawing its influences from the funk-fusion scene of the 1970s, electronic music, and even punk rock. With boundless energy and a need to break the rules, the five musicians juggle harmonic delusions, high-energy dynamics, and noisy atmospheres with self-deprecating humor. With around forty dates under their belt, their show transcends tastes and classes to unite audiences with a crazy and electrifying stage performance straight out of the organic jungle of Villeurbanne.

Submarine FM has built its universe at the crossroads of bass music, breakbeat, and techno. For several years, it has been multiplying its live performances and DJ sets from Lyon to Paris via London. In the studio, it regularly produces albums, remixes, and edits, released by labels such as Tsunami Records, Big Dyke Energy, Les Disques du Lobby, and Jarring Effects.

Their live shows are enhanced by the minimalist, poetic, and committed VJing of artist Ocean Flounk. Hypnotic bass lines, animated creatures, modular synth melodies, and euphoric breaks: Submarine FM & Ocean Flounk’s live show is psychedelic and frenetic.
