[Kyara Sonor]

Lyon, France

On stage:

Matheo Ciesla, jazz and improvised music drummer, is passionate about sound texture. Sideman on numerous projects on the Lyon scene such as: Amin Al Aiedy Quartet, Victoria Alexanyan Quintet, Dragon Flowers, Bitter Blaze and Felsenmeer. Also a composer, he was quickly drawn to the noise-based universe of his instrument and added an electroacoustic dimension that he developed during his experience with Moisture III alongside Loïc Del Monte and Paolo Rezze. He continues this research with Paolo Rezze around the diversion of objects, as well as with Rose Dehors on the experimental free jazz/noise side. His taste for research led him to continue his experiments as a solo artist.

Behind the console:

At the helm of the project’s sound diffusion, Anthony Dupuy is first and foremost a musician. After studying contemporary music at the ENM in Villeurbanne, he turned to sound engineering and trained at Grim Edif to consolidate his technical expertise. In 2022, he joined Le Périscope in Lyon as stage manager for three years. Building on this experience, he worked as an artistic director and sound engineer for other artists (Yann Ponthus, Clane, Jet Whistle, Anima, Freddyrocket, etc.). At the same time, he developed an interest in film music and composed the soundtrack for Loïc Zimmermann’s film “Kruz.” Today, Anthony works with the publishing house A.Chave and is preparing his solo music project (Vortex). He is also founding a recording studio dedicated to creation, production, and artistic support, where the [Kyara Sonor] project will be in residence in April 2026.
