The vitality of the European jazz scene is illustrated by T.I.M., a Franco-Norwegian trio and winner of the Jazz With program supported by AJC.
T.I.M. creates music full of imagery, where folklore and random variations meet. Karoline Wallace’s voice, combined with soundtracks, creates a musical relief that brings out the piano and violin. Inger Hannisdal navigates between Norwegian folklore and oriental melodies on her traditional Hardanger fiddle, while pianist Sébastien Palis (Papanosh, Uccelli…) wanders between melodies and improvisations amid layers of sound.
