Saint Abdullah & Eomac

The duo Saint Abdullah & Eomac is the result of a brilliant encounter between Iranian-Canadian musician Mohammad Mehrabani-Yeganeh and Irish producer Ian McDonnell. Their work is distinguished by visceral sound design, intense textures and rhythms, and a strong geopolitical, spiritual and intercultural dimension. They have both had remarkable solo careers for many years on the international club and experimental electronic scene, with acclaimed work on Planet Mu, Stroboscopic Artefact, Other People, Bedouin, Killekill, and more. Their latest album as a duo on Trilogy Tapes is an exhilarating mix of raw electronica, bass and hip-hop, sprinkled with snippets of Persian pop and original vocals. Their live performance has been featured at Atonal, Unsound, Nuits Sonores, Tehran Contemporary Sounds, Semibreve…
