Wet Enough!?

Besançon, before lockdown. While still in high school, Laszlo, Baptiste, Matthieu, Maël and Marius, driven by a shared desire to make people dance and sweat, formed Wet Enough!? and began composing together, drawing on their burning passion for funk, electronic music, rap and disco.
The influence of American bands such as Ghost-Note and Butcher Brown can be detected, as well as a punk energy. Above all, there is an exciting appetite for mixing genres, with no regard for conventions or good taste. Their first album, Dancing People Don’t Dry, illustrates this. Starting with a new jazz style reminiscent of the English and American scenes with the compositions Green Tangerine, Emile Lédonien, and Lullaby for a Riot, they also venture into club music with the unapologetic house sound of their track Dump, carried by the voice of Galawesh Heril. Then, Marius, the trombonist, takes the mic and effortlessly lays down his sharp flow over hip-hop and old-school instrumentals (Lascars, San Pé) as well as the garage instrumental of their track J’FaisLes 2.
