TanDEM: Call for applications

Le Périscope is renewing its support programme for young instrumentalists for the 2026-2027 season.
Le Périscope is opening applications for TanDEM, a support programme that allows two young instrumentalists to take part in the life of our venue and discover the different stages of the creative process in order to develop their artistic project.

The programme runs from January to July 2027.
Applications are open from 14 October to 23 November 2026.
Selection criteria:
- Musicians enrolled in a third-cycle (postgraduate) programme or who have recently obtained the DEM (Diplôme d’Études Musicales), living in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region;
- Under 30 years of age at the time of application;
- Presenting at least two artistic projects, at least one of which is in the field of jazz and improvised music;
- Able to provide a presentation of the musical project you wish to submit for the TanDEM programme: description of the artistic project, line-up and composition of the group (maximum 5 people), promotional materials, background, future plans, etc.;
- Having performed on stage regularly, in either professional or amateur settings.
Le Périscope’s support includes:
- Access to Le Périscope’s rehearsal rooms;
- Two creative residencies on stage at Le Périscope with technical support (maximum 5 people), scheduled according to the project’s needs and the venue’s availability;
- One concert at Le Périscope during the 2026/2027 season, under professional conditions;
- Artistic advice, development and support from the Le Périscope team;
- Participation in the Ateliers Lobster programme.
