Transe Ar Gwez

A composer and DJ, Transe Ar Gwez has developed an interest in analog synths and machines over the years, through various encounters and the many live performances he has hosted at the SÀĆHÔ festival, which he has co-organized since 2015.

Launched with his debut EP Infravox (Mercredi Records, 2022), the project blends analog synth pads, twisted samples, distorted rhythmic breaks, and jagged effect loops. Influenced by the trance, downtempo, and new age sounds of the ’90s and early 2000s, his live sets are built around hypnotic drones, broken-up dub, and melancholic electronica, creating moments of trance into which one can immerse oneself body and soul.

After releasing several tracks and remixes on labels such as Dôme, Editentités (“Roland Becker reroll”), Olga Productions, and Tripalium Corp… his debut album, Le Crépuscules des Monstres, was released last March 2026 on Carpaccio Cathedrale.

Le Crépuscules des Monstres, an ode to decay, takes root in a dark chapter of time. In the shadows, the mycelium grows, crackles, captures, and colors souls. From a vulnerable cocoon, the album invites listeners to break free from their doubts and twist the burning pains of the moment. The groves begin to dance; the forest rumbles. Trance music for uprooted trees, twisted samples, and soundscapes into which one can plunge.
