Under the expert hands of Cédric Laban, drummer with Isaac Delusion, and Émile Sornin, leader of Forever Pavot, after two EPs on BMM records, La Récré is back in 2025 with a new single, ‘La Lune’. Somewhere between jazz and lo-fi hip-hop, the two zigotos want to take on the world like never before.
The two musicians have already made a name for themselves on the French indie pop scene, making La Récré a discreet side project for afficionados. In this exploration of raw groove, La Récré play with roaring delays, heavily reverberated keys and vocal samples taken from TV archives, adding an undeniable vintage flavour to their sound.
