Preferring winding paths to boring straight lines, Wheobe sketches the contours of a universe that resembles them. Their influences come from alternative rock from across the Channel, ranging from Radiohead, Swans, and Squid to Puts Maria.

Pure sonic impressionists, the band’s debut album, A Strained Ocean, draws its colors from powerful, contrasting alternative rock, borrowing from a multitude of influences ranging from jazz to noise. It’s an intense mix, much like their live performances, which don’t hesitate to play with extremes to convey a raw, sincere, and authentic message.

Technically not a bird

A solo project by Mathis, bassist with Antenn.e. Lo-fi computer and naive pop, born in a poorly ventilated 9m² bedroom. Now on the big screen and on stage with Lia Vial, cleseph and nils from Eyes and Legs, thanks to friends it’s coming to life. Think Alex G, Beat Happening, The Clean.
