Sandrine Marchetti solo

For her first solo piano project, Sandrine Marchetti has chosen to highlight and draw inspiration from various female jazz composers, interweaving sometimes little-known pieces with her own compositions.

Influenced by a variety of musical styles, including jazz, folk and contemporary music, the pianist reveals, through her compositions, arrangements and improvisations, a rich and subtle palette of harmonic colours, combined with the gentleness of a melodic ‘line’ that tells a unique and distinctive story in each new piece, inviting us to discover the beauty and power of her world – one that is at once poetic, full of contrast and luminous.
