FFYG Yann Gourdon et Filipe Felizardo

FFYG brings together Portuguese guitarist Filipe Felizardo and hurdy-gurdy player Yann Gourdon, from the La Nòvia collective. Thanks to the Trás-os-Montes Records label, they met in January 2020 and played almost non-stop for three days, discovering the deep harmony of their intuitions and instrumental languages.

This encounter gave rise to an album inspired by the landscapes of Macedo de Cavaleiros and Podence. Their music, made up of drones, repetitions, and fertile accidents, can be listened to as if one were standing on the summit of a mountain: a 360º view and sound. This concert promises discovery, a suspended moment where music becomes landscape.
