Touccan

Touccan, a post-emo duo combining math rock and post-hardcore, delivers raw and sincere music, carried by guitar and drums that are as melancholic as they are optimistic.
Founded in 2018 by Valentin (drums) and Clovis (guitar), Touccan draws its strength from the bond between two childhood friends. After exploring genres ranging from skate punk to death metal together, their diverse influences now feed into compositions tinged with nostalgia. With a line-up reduced to a guitar and drums, the duo offers instrumental music with eclectic structures, where irregular rhythms and emotional contrasts create a unique identity. The result is a style reminiscent of both the energy of Totorro and the emotional intensity of Touché Amoré.
Touccan has shared the stage with bands such as CKY, STORMO and Raincheck, gradually establishing its place on the alternative scene. In 2024, the duo is scheduled to perform at the Post in Paris festival, alongside LITE, Baleine, Karaba F.C and Fragile.
Since their first EP in 2018, Touccan has refined their style, culminating in the album Full Sentimental (2022), praised for its instrumental sincerity and inventive structures. The band continues to explore new sounds with a split album shared with Chaleur Tournante in 2025, and is currently working on a second album.
