Aptère

Aptère brings together cellist Lina Belaïd and accordionist Antoine Girard around a shared passion for lively and popular music, whether traditional, contemporary, jazz, Balkan or musette. The sounds of bowed strings and blown reeds blend and intertwine on their playground. Sensitive compositions and adventurous improvisations reveal rich sound palettes, haunting rhythms, bold harmonies and melodic lyricism imbued with oriental ornamentation.
